Golden Rainbow’s Ribbon of Life Concert

Golden Rainbow Presents 33rd Annual Ribbon of Life Concert
“The Ribbon of Life Summer of Love — Celebrating Woodstock’s 50th Anniversary”

On Sunday, June 23, 2019, at 1:00 pm, Golden Rainbow will present its thirty-third annual “Ribbon of Life” concert at The Legends in Concert Theater at The Tropicana Las Vegas.

“Ribbon of Life” always presents original production numbers featuring the top singers, dancers and performers from shows on the Las Vegas Strip. This year’s production, “The Ribbon of Life’s Summer of Love—Celebrating Woodstock’s 50th Anniversary,” will highlight the artists and music of Woodstock. The annual production draws over 1,000 patrons; tickets usually sell out quickly.

In addition to the concert, this year’s event will see the return of the Ribbon of Life Silent Auction, featuring many items such as Las Vegas show tickets, travel packages, and other goodies donated by various local merchants. There will also be a special Ribbon of Life after party immediately following the show in the Trago Lounge, adjacent to the theater. Attendees can meet all of the show performers and be treated to additional performances. The after party is free to VIP level Ribbon of Life ticket holders. There is also a limited number of after party tickets available to general audience ticket holders and the general public for an additional fee.

This time-tested event, one of the largest and most unique shows of its kind in Nevada, is the primary source of funding for Golden Rainbow’s efforts to provide housing and financial assistance to people living with HIV/AIDS in Southern Nevada. Golden Rainbow’s Affordable Housing Program provides long-term and transitional housing to low-income individuals and families affected by HIV/AIDS who have faced challenges finding and securing safe, affordable places to live. The organization owns numerous Las Vegas apartment buildings and single-family homes. The units are affordable and designed to be a place where residents can feel at home, maintain medical care, and resume a normal life.

Funds raised at Ribbon of Life will enable Golden Rainbow to continue to provide affordable and comfortable housing and to offer financial relief to low-income people living with HIV/AIDS by assisting with rent, mortgages, utilities, health-related costs, childcare, transportation and other basic living expenses.

Pre-sale tickets are available now at The Tropicana Las Vegas is at 3801 S. Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas NV 89109; (702) 739-2222.
