A&U Announces Pushcart Prize Nominees

Each year, Pushcart Press celebrates the best in small press publishing by honoring outstanding literary work across different genres. This year Pushcart Prize nominations were difficult as we had published so many strong works of fiction, poetry, and nonfiction.

Nominations, within genre categories, were decided upon by Fiction Editor Raymond Luczak, Poetry Editor Noah Stetzer, and Managing Editor Chael Needle.

The nominees are:

“Good Humor” by John Whittier Treat (fiction)
“The Line” by Philip Dean Walker(fiction)

“Elegy for Ken Meeks” by Travis Chi Wing Lau (poetry)
“Post-Apocalyptic Horror Show Ending in a Cher Song” by James Allen Hall (poetry)

“The Uninvited Guest” by Hank Trout (nonfiction)

Good luck to the nominees and thank you for sharing your work with the world!
