PRC’s Songs of the Season Returns December 10-11

For many San Franciscans, the Holidays just don’t start until “Songs of the Season” brings the phenomenal Donna Sachet and some of her talented friends together to sing their most beloved holiday songs.

Happily, Songs of the Season returns to the legendary Feinstein’s at the Nikko, in San Francisco, on Monday and Tuesday, December 10 and 11, for a celebration of the holidays for all, benefiting PRC. This is the twenty-fifth year that “Songs of the Season” has gathered Ms. Sachet and her talented friends for a musical celebration of the holidays.

Hosted by Billboard Recording Artist Brian Kent, this “very merry evening of music and mirth (with a shaker of sass)” featuring musical luminaries, Donna Sachet, Leanne Borghesi, Kippy Marks, Kenny Nelson, Dan O’Leary, Breanna Sinclair, and Sister Roma.

Befitting its 25th Anniversary Edition of Songs of the Season features a new line up of talent, curated by Kent. The show promises you an evening filled with a variety of locally and internationally recognized and spirited entertainers, determined to usher you into the joy and excitement of the holiday season.

PRC (formerly Positive Resource Center) has been helping those affected by HIV/AIDS, substance use, or mental health issues to realize their best selves by providing the support and services they need to reclaim their lives, including emergency financial assistance for short-term security; legal representation for access to basic income and healthcare benefits; and residential treatment, supportive housing, and employment training for longer-term social rehabilitation.

In the November 13, 2019 edition of the San Francisco Bay Times,” Ms. Sachet wrote, “It has always been my dream to gather talented friends for a musical production celebrating the holidays—perhaps a dream born of those old Judy Garland/Mickey Rooney movies and the charming story in White Christmas. In 1992, as Miss Gay San Francisco with the visibility of my title and the support of the Imperial Court, I vowed to make my dream come true.”

Twenty-five years later, thanks to Brian Kent and many others, that dream is more vital than ever.
